This year's Freddy Awards, honoring travel loyalty programs, were recently handed out by InsideFlyer magazine. The honorees were chosen by over 600,000 travelers who voted for their picks online.
For a fourth time in its history, Alaska Airlines' Mileage Plan picked up the award for best frequent flyer program in the Americas. Jet Airways' JetPrivilege program received the most awards among the airlines, earning seven total. For hotel loyalty programs, Marriott Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest each had strong showings, with Marriott receiving nine awards and Starwood receiving ten. Here is a complete list of winners:
