November 28, 2007
Famed resort in Scotland nears completion of $36 million refurbishment
By Jeanie Casison

Starting in February, guests of The Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland will have plenty to write home about with the unveiling of the newly refurbished landmark property. The completion of an $11 million renovation—part of a $36 million refurbishment—marks a significant milestone for the legendary resort with new additions that are sure to enhance the incentive travel experience.

Known around the world for golf, The Gleneagles Hotel offers other enticing enhancements. The Spa at Gleneagles by ESPA, along with a new hair salon and barbershop provides for luxurious pampering, while families can take advantage of such new features as The Zone, a dedicated area for teens, and The Playroom, which is ideal for small children.

Also new to The Gleneagles Hotel are the Spirit Suites including an elegant Blue Tower Spirit Suite; a Mediterranean themed dining emporium DESEO and the only Gundog School in the world, inspired by Scotland's great sporting heritage.
