Gift card industry veteran Rebekka Rea has joined Giftex Prepay, leading the British gift card industry research firm's move into North America.
Rea, a past member of the board of the Incentive Marketing Association's Incentive Gift Card Council (IGCC), was director of business development at leading gift card distributor Blackhawk Network and then director of national accounts for InComm, a distributor and technology provider in the gift card market. She has also been director of merchant partnerships at incentive houses IncentOne and Globoforce
"I am thrilled to be a part of the Giftex Prepay team and look forward to building our North American Network," says Rea, vice president of Giftex's new North American Network. "Giftex Prepay has successfully helped retailers in the UK grow their prepaid business and I'm confident we will be able to duplicate that success in the US and Canada."
